Redesigning Compass Group’s health and wellbeing website
Our client and their challenge
Compass Group UK & Ireland is the UK’s largest food and support services firm; they help customers make healthier choices in a digitally-enabled world. It also supports government initiatives on health and wellbeing and influences experts to improve public health, making it the market leader in this area.
The company looked to revitalise and improve the usability of its ‘Know Your Food’ website which, while rich in content, had limited options for consumer engagement.
Our process and solution
Big developed a new health and wellbeing brand identity called ‘Nourished Life’ to enhance Compass Group’s content for both commercial and consumer markets and embraced their current corporate values.
Following detailed UX workshops, Design and Technical development (Umbraco); ‘Nourished Life’ was born. The content focused on Food and Nutrition, Lifestyle, Sleep, Recipes and Meet our Experts - a number of leading Compass Group nutritionists and chefs on hand to answer queries from customers.
The result and the impact
The website was successfully launched on time at the end of January 2017 to a delighted client.
