Marketing Executive Apprentice

In this role you would be working with our partnerships team to support with Partnership Account Management and to learn about the wider business of a marketing agency. We are looking for a student wanting to gain a Marketing Executive L4 Apprenticeship whilst gaining experience within a creative marketing agency.

Reporting to: Senior Partnerships Account Manager

Working hours: Mon-Fri full time (including apprenticeship hours) 16 month fixed term apprentice contract.

 
 

Key tasks

Key task description:

1. Account Management

  • Assist the Partnerships team with day to day running of partnership activity - from responding to briefs to supporting on key projects as requested
  • Providing desk based research and documentation of commercial insights, competitor analysis and industry leading brand campaigns
  • Responding to internal requests and tasks pro-actively and efficiently

     How its measured?

  •  Ability to respond and manage internal requests from the Partnerships Team
  • Ability to operate various online platforms to complete desk based research
  • To provide documentation on the completion of proactive research based projects
  • Satisfaction level of internal teams

2. Admin support

  • Support team in day to day tasks, such as booking meetings, taking notes, compiling status reports, tracking assets, managing timelines and budgets.
  • Assisting in running internal team status meetings across three client projects
  • Proof reading and quality checking work
  • Support the Partnerships team in coordinating with wider internal stakeholders inc. creative, Priceless Cities event team and wider project digital teams

    How its measured?

  • Ability to operate various Microsoft Office applications and tools
  • Monitoring and thoroughly checking of work and ensuring output is as per Big Group standards.
  • Satisfaction level of internal teams

3. Client and project liaison

  • Support the Partnerships Team with daily client communications, where required 
  • Assist the team with responding to merchant promotional requests across UK and with key European markets
  • Support in upholding excellent stakeholder management with both the client and merchant partners, if required
  • Support in setting and managing tasks as and when briefed by the client
  • Ability to communicate with the client directly, if requested. 

     How its measured?

  • Reporting tracker to be updated with promotional requests in timely manner
  • Record of managing ad hoc requests
  • Escalate concerns or issues when needed
  • Satisfaction level of client, merchant partner and internal teams

 
 

Person specification

Knowledge and Experience

Essential:

  • Understanding how to adapt your communication to suit different audiences
  • Ability to manage desk research and marketing analysis (when taught)
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Desirable:

  • Marketing Assistance experience
  • Understanding the basic principles of Marketing
  • Customer relationship management experience
  • Experience campaign or event co-ordination and planning
  • Knowledge of Marketing Concepts, Tools and Techniques

General skills/ attributes

Education/qualifications

Desirable:

  • A-level educated (or equivalent)
  • A*-C level GCSEs (or equivalent) in English Maths and ICT
